AVI contracts until 2013

SPITZKE SCHWEISSTECHNIK GmbH received DB network maintenance contracts

With the award of the AVI contracts for maintenance of the DB network, SPITZKE SCHWEISSTECHNIK GmbH was able to come out on top in several tender areas. In lot four, the track welding, SPITZKE SCHWEISSTECHNIK GmbH won the contract in DB's Kiel, Hamburg, Berlin – Cottbus, Kassel, Würzburg, Nuremberg and Regensburg regions. From lot one (minor repairs to tracks and points) and lot two (rail replacement greater than 60 m) the welders received further contracts in different DB regions through the SPITZKE Group.

While SPITZKE SCHWEISSTECHNIK GmbH is deployed for track renewal on the SPITZKE Group's construction sites, and of other companies, especially at weekends, the AVI contracts of DB Netz AG are usually worked on from Monday to Friday. The contracts stated in March 2010 and last for three years, until 2013.
